UIDAI will take Biometric Data of 30 lakh NRC Applicants
·        Union Identity Authority of India (UIDAI) will record biometric data of 30 lakh NRC applicants who were left out from the final draft of NRC last year.
·        Biometric data includes fingerprints, iris scan.
·        Notably, 40 lakh people were left out from the final draft of the NRC last year, among which 30 lakh has filed application to be included in the NRC (National Register of Citizens).
