P.M Narendra Modi has conferred with Seoul Peace Prize
P.M Narendra Modi has been conferred with Seoul Peace Prize 2018, for his contributions to international cooperation and fostering global economic growth. The award will be presented by the Seoul Peace Prize Foundation.

Train 18, the first engineless train is set for trial
India’s first engineless train, train 18 is set for trials on Oct. 29. The train is the successor of the 30-year-old Shatabdi Express. It is a 16 coach prototype and was developed by the Chennai based Integral Coach Factory in 18 months.

First World Agriculture Prize will be awarded to M.S Swaminathan
The first World Agriculture Prize will be awarded to M.S Swaminathan, an agricultural scientist. The prize will be presented for his enormous contribution in genetics, cytogenetics, radiation and chemical mutagenesis, food and biodiversity conservation etc. He has been hailed as ‘ Father of Economic Ecology’ by the United Nations Environment Programme.  The prize will be presented by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi at a special session named ‘ Swaminathan Global Dialogue on Climate Change & Food Security’.

Govt. constitutes GoM to deal with Sexual Harassment cases at Work Place
The govt. has constituted GoM to examine the legal and institutional framework for dealing and preventing sexual harassment at workplace. The Group of Ministers will be chaired by the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and its members are Nitin Gadkari Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nirmala Sitharaman Defence Minister, Maneka Sanjay Gandhi Minister of Women & Child Development.

The extradition treaty between India & Malawi
The Union Cabinet has approved the signing and ratification of the Extradition Treaty between India & Malawi. The treaty will provide a legal framework for the extradition of terrorists, economic offenders or other criminals from and to Malawi.
