Sugata Bose has paid tribute to Bose’s Legacy
Sugata Bose, grandnephew of Subhash Chandra Bose has paid tribute to Bose’s legacy by hosting an exhibition in Kolkata of more than 60 black & white photograph to mark the 75th anniversary of the Azad Hind Gov. The exhibition titled 1943: One Year, One Man, And a World at War.
Notably, 1943 was the most glorious year for Netaji’s life as he was stuck in Europe in January, 1943and by December 1943 he came back on Indian soil proclaiming Azad Hind Govt. in Singapore.

NCW urged media houses to form Internal Committees
The National Commission for Women has urged the Information & Broadcasting Ministry to direct all the media houses and print publications to form Internal Committees to enquire complaints of sexual harassment at workplace.
The move has taken in the response of so many receipts of complaints of sexual harassment at workplace in various women rights body.

India will host the Global meet on Maternal, Child Health in December.
The UNICEF  said that India will host global meet on Maternal, Child Health in December. The meeting will have stakeholders from 100 countries on issues related to Maternal and Child health. The forum will be hosted by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare with the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (PMNCH).
P.M Narendra Modi and former Chile President Michelle Bachelet will deliver the keynote address. This is the second time India is hosting the forum, the first time was in 2010.

P.M Modi will announce National Awards on the name of Netaji
P.M Narendra Modi will announce national award on the name of Netaji on January 23, on the date of Netaji’s birthday. The award will be given to police personnel every year who do excellent work in rescue and relief operations during any kind of disaster.

U.S confirmed to pull out of Russia’s Missile Pact.
U.S President Donald Trump has confirmed that U.S will pull out from the  Intermediate-Range Nuclear Force Treaty (INF) with Russia. The treaty is almost 3 decades old and was signed in 1987 banning the development, testing & possession of short and medium ranged ground-launched nuclear missiles with a range of 500-5000 km. The main aim of the treaty was to ending the arms race between the two superpowers and to protect America’s NATO allies in Europe from Soviet missile attacks.

Defence Minister attended ADMM at Singapore
The Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has attended on 20th Oct. the 5th ADMM plus meeting in Singapore, which is a forum for Defence Ministers of 10 ASEAN and 8 ASEAN plus countries.
The theme of the dialogue for 2018 was ‘ Strengthening Cooperation, Building Resilience’. The dialogue has also adopted two resolutions on ‘ Countering the threat of terrorism’ and ‘ Practical Confidence Building Measures’
