Indian Navy Day

India Water Impact Summit-2018
·      India Water Impact Summit-2018 will be held from 5th December to 7th December 2018.
·      Ministry for Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation & National Mission for Clean Ganga has organized the summit.
·    The Summit will be inaugurated by Union Minister for Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Shri Nitin Gadkari
·   The purpose of the summit is to discuss, debate and develop model solutions for some of the biggest water-related problems in the country.
·      This year the discussion will be on the rejuvenation of the Ganga River Basin.

Swadesh Drashan Project will be inaugurated in Nagaland on 5th December
·    The first ever project under Swadesh Darshan will be inaugurated in Nagaland on 5th December by the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, in the presence of Union Minister of State for tourism, K.J Alphons at Kisma village in Nagaland.
·    The name of the project is “Development of Tribal Circuits: Peren- Kohima- Wokha Project”.
·     Swadesh Darshan Scheme is an initiative by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India.
·   The aim of the scheme is to develop thematic circuits in the country in a planned & prioritized manner.
·     The Scheme was launched in 2014-15 and from that date, the Ministry has sanctioned 73 projects.
