168 people killed in Indonesia due to Tsunami
·    168 people killed and hundreds injured by the volcano-triggered tsunami in the islands of Java & Sumatra in Indonesia.
·       The tsunami has caused due to the volcanic eruption of Anak Krakatau volcano.

Agni IV test-fired successfully
·       On 23 December 2018, the Indian Army has successfully test-fired Agni IV missile.
·      This is a surface-to-surface nuclear capable long-range ballistic missile with a strike range of 4000 k.m.
·    It is test-fired from launch complex-4 of the Integrated Test Range (ITR) AT Dr. Abdul Kalam Island which was earlier known as Wheeler Island.
