  1. CGHS starts teleconsultation services in Delhi/NCR

CGHS ( Central Government Health Scheme ) under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, has started teleconsultation services w.e.f. 25.8.2020 in Delhi/NCR. The beneficiaries will be only the CGHS beneficiaries who require consultation with specialists through virtual mode without physically visiting a healthcare facility. It is using the existing e-sanjeevani platform of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. It will be very helpful to specially senior beneficiaries, who require specialist consultation but cannot go to any health care facility due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.


  1. MoU signed between NeGD & CSC E-Governance Services India Limited to make services on UMANG app available to citizens through a wide network of CSCs

An MoU has signed between National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Information & Technology & Common Service Center e-Governance Services India Limited to facilitated delivery of UMANG services to citizens through the network of 3.75 lakh CSCs. More than 1000 services of 140 departments on UMANG app can now be available at CSCs.


  1. Ministry of Culture announces 7 new circles of ASI

Minister of Culture, Shri Prahlad Singh Patel has announced 7 new circles of Archeological Survey of India. The 7 new circles are- Trichy (T.N), Hampi (K.N), Rajganj (W.B), Rajkot ( G.J), Jabalpur (M.P), Jhansi & Meerut in U.P. Earlier, there were 29 circles in India. These circles facilitate & strengthen the process of preservation and registration of archaeological monuments along with registration of artifacts.


  1. FASTag become mandatory for availing all discount on the National Highways Fee Plazas

FASTag has become mandatory by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways to avail return journey discounts or any other exemptions on Toll Fee Plazas.
